The Les Paul Junior is a guitar whose history is a little complicated. This somewhat budget model of the company stalwart Les Paul
model was first made available between 1954 and 1963, then again from 1986 to 1992, then again in the first decade of the 21st
century to now. Its body shap has been different over the years, from the standard single-cutaway Les Paul shape, to an SG-type
body, to the sort of hybrid double-cutaway (as shown in the 1959 model above). It features a single P-90 pickup, and vintage models
were apparently only available in Cherry or Sunburst finishes. It has variously been renamed the SG Jr. and he '1957 Les Paul Jr.
